Frogs are fascinating creatures! Did you know that frogs don’t drink, they absorb water through their skin? Zoologists claim that there are about 5,000 species of frogs.
Recently, a new species of tree frog has been discovered in the swampy rainforests of Papua New Guinea, an island near Australia. The tiny frog sports a beautiful chocolate brown color instead of the vibrant green skin of its relatives and looks so adorable that it’ll melt your heart!
It is nicknamed ‘the chocolate frog‘ and is officially called Litoria Mira, which means ‘surprised’ or ‘strange’ in Latin.
The discovery has created a lot of excitement among the Harry Potter fans as it looks exactly like the enchanted sweets shown in the movie.
But these chocolate frogs are not meant to be eaten for sure!
